The day after the holiday and then back to work

Yesterday after Ora left, we pretended that we still had lots of energy but when Mum went inside to get something this is how we felt....So tired....These long weekends are so draining....I can hardly wait to get back to work so I can catch up on my sleep.

This morning we got up and had a nice breakfast and a romp around the backyard. Then Mum called us upstairs while she got ready to go to work.....Bill went  into his crate so I thought I'd join him.

He didn't like that so he left and tried to relax....I of course went right with him...Mum looked at us and I said "what I'm not touching him". She just turned around and kept getting ready.

As soon as her back was turned though, we began our playing......

Then she turned to look at us....What? We aren't doing anything...Just sleeping.

Off to work we went and Bill hung out watching TV....He's lucky.  When I got home we ran around the backyard acting like we hadn't seen each other in years.  Bill took one look at Mum and ran into the kitchen for dinner.  Mum said absolutely no..dinner is not served until after 6...He followed Mum everywhere she went.....So she put me in a crate and shut the door and went to the gym... Oh boy, that means dinner is going to be a lot later than 6 pm...Note to Bill:  Don't try to convince Mum that we need to eat dinner early...It will only net you dinner later than she had originally intended..... Finally she came home just as we both were about to expire from lack of food....okay I'm being dramatic..We went for a walk and then Bill settled down on the couch to watch TV.  I of course had to be right next to him and I'm not allowed on the couch so I managed to get on the couch without touching it.

I'm pretty smart aren't I?  What you think this still counts as being on the couch?

So did Mum,  so I'm on the floor with one of my favorite bones to chew.  Bill's on the floor too because its no fun to be on the couch without me...Well at least that is what I think.
