Sidney comes to play

Sidney came to play this morning and it was nice to finally have a dog around who was smaller than me.  She was really fun and she doesn't know how to stop so she did a lot of sliding and tumbling.  She is tough though and can hang with the big dogs..Her Mum calls her "Sid Vicious" but I don't think she is that ferocious.

At one point during our playtime Bill fell to the ground. We thought he was having a heart attack so we attempted to administer CPR...But Bill jumped up laughing and yelled "Gotcha"......

Sydney said she was old enough to learn some dance moves so we showed her just a few simple steps. She did pretty well for a little squirt.

She attempted the complicated "flyover another dog" move but unfortunately she didn't get much air....She needs a lot of practice before she should attempt this move again.  I think my neck is strained from her landing on it...Note to self:  Stay away from puppies who are just learning to dance.

We were done dancing so Sydney decided to take a stroll around the pool. Bill and I were secretly hoping that she would fall in...Bill even suggested that we walk by and hip check her into the pool (Bill has been watching way too much hockey lately).  I told Bill that no good could come from us pushing the baby into the pool and I wanted a nice snack tonight for New Year's Eve.  Fortunately Bill listened to me and Sydney remained dry (this time)

We were all taking a breather since we ran a lot and it was warm...Sydney hunkered down in the ice plant with a bone.

Bill and I stretched out by the pool.

It was fun to have a new visitor to Camp Cedar...I'm sure she'll come by again.

Tonight Granny is a big night for me as Tio, Auntie Mum, and Granny arrive.  I don't get to go to the airport so I won't see them until tomorrow.  Oh and yes the Beast From the East is also flying in....Teddy....I need to find my protective ear gear (like the guys wear at the airport)...Its gonna be noisy around here for the next few months but its worth it because I love Granny and I can tolerate Teddy.....
